The CN Tower is a communications and observation tower in downtown Toronto. Standing 553.33 metres (1,815.4 ft) tall, it was completed in 1976, becoming the world’s tallest free standing structure and world’s tallest tower for 34 years.
CN Tower at night
With a view 1,122 feet straight down, the glass floor has been specifically designed for you to sit and jump on. The floor is 256 square feet of solid glass that is five times stronger than the required weight and apparently can withstand the weight of 14 large hippos. Luckily being there at night there was hardly any tourists so we got to take our time and enjoy the view. Unfortunately this was short lived as the older lady sitting on the glass decided it was a timely place to let out a fart. What a way to ruin the view.
