Oh yes, you read it correct. On my stroll down Queen Street West one afternoon I saw a fun little shop called ‘Outer Layer’ and went in. I love these kind of shops, you never know what your going to find and the best place to pick up a bday present. And low and behold, that’s where I spotted it, Funeral Home perfume.
Now I tend to stay away from flavoured perfumes ever since I wore the Body Shop’s Vanilla perfume and was told on one occasion that I smelt like ‘cake’, but with tons of intriguing flavours like Paperback, Orange Pop, Gingerale, Maple Syrup, Dirt and the irresistable Funeral Home, I had to try it. Apparently its a blend of classic white flowers: lilies, carnations, gladiolus, chrysanthemums with stems and leaves, with a hint of mahogany and oriental carpet(?????) — apparently everything that makes you think of a Funeral Home. I didn`t end up buying it but I`ll definately be back to sample the number one seller that just happened to be sold out…Holy Water.
